Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position in the research project
entitled “Developing novel therapeutic strategies for mitigating antimicrobial resistance”
sponsored by NASF, Govt. of India, sanctioned for a period of three years (2022-2025). This post
is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Post Name: Research Associate (RA) (L-III): One post, @ Rs. 54,000 + HRA @ 18% per month.
Age Limit: Upper Age limit— 40 years: (5 years’ relaxation for Female). All other regulations will be as
per GOI rules.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or three years of research/
teaching experience after M.Tech in Computer Engineering with at least one research paper
published in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. The candidates who have submitted their
Ph.D. thesis and having consistently good academic records are also eligible for the position.
Tenure: The tenure of appointment will be initially for one year from the date of his/her joining
the Institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds
and performance of the candidate. Based on performance of the candidate, the term of research
associateship can be up to a maximum of two years.
Desirable Qualifications: Ph.D. work in the area of Artificial Intelligence/ Data Science/
Computational Biology. Candidate having SCI papers in reputed journals (IEEE/ACM
Transactions) and Top-Tier Conferences will be preferred.

2. The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed
in the advertisement.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated by email after deadline to appear in the
interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
4. The candidate, when selected, is expected to join immediately.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
